The London Look

London’s calling! Dress your little followers of fashion in a clash of prints from tartan to leopard – or mix them both – paired with a black biker jacket, sturdy patent boots and baker boy cap for an unapologetically British look, perfect for striding through the streets of Soho. If you are venturing further west, let textures do the talking in tweed blazers, monochrome wool-blend dresses, beautiful soft knits and trusty denim jeans to create looks that are simply made for Chelsea. The hustle and bustle of London’s East End calls to be dressed from the feet up with statement sneakers, casual trousers and a bold bomber jacket for show-stopping style. Complete your tour of the city by crossing the River Thames into South London with flair dressed in a matching tracksuit that does all the hard work for you, or pair a statement sweater with jeans for off-duty cool.

Whether hailing a black cab, riding on a red bus or going underground, a Burberry trench coat, Harrington jacket, or rain mac are guaranteed to ensure kids are well covered and protected from unpredictable British weather. Complete the look with statement sunglasses and a handy backpack or shoulder bag to store souveniers and fashion week essentials.

When picking a coat or jacket, there is nothing more quintessentially British than Burberry

Fashion Royalty

An astounding schedule has been prepared by the British Fashion Council, built upon three Positive Fashion pillars: Sustainability, Equality & Diversity, Craftmanship & Community. Expect to find industry greats, emerging underground talent and an edge of cool all the way though from backstage to the after parties. The front row will be lined with fashion royalty, from mini-muse Harper Beckham, to British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful OBE. HRH, the Queen traditionally closes the week with the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. The first year saw the Queen herself present the award, followed by the Dutchess of Cornwall in 2019. Keep your eyes peeled to see which member of the royal family will be presenting it this year
