Gender Pay Gap Report 2017

Childrensalon has always been a strong advocate of gender pay equality and believes that Gender Pay Reporting is the first step towards achieving this. We are incredibly proud to share our Gender Pay Gap Report which shows how diverse our company is as well as the fact that at Childrensalon we value mentoring, promoting and paying women fairly.

We are proud that our report shows that not only is there no gender pay gap, we have more women in senior roles and thus our median gender pay gap is -14% vs. the national average of 18% (based on estimates from ASHE survey 2018). Our median bonus gap is -4.58% and our mean is 24.31%, which can largely be explained by our current structure, time in role or skill-set factors. We continue to take action to address any gaps and to make sure our policies and practices are fair. This includes actively reviewing decisions around our annual performance, pay and bonus factors.

The gender pay gap calculations cover more than 300 employees at all levels, including the leadership team. We hope that our statistics remain as positive going forward and that we continue to improve where we can.
