Meet Bertie | The Childrensalon Bear
Everyone needs a special bear to call their own, no matter their age. Introducing Bertie, our limited-edition Childrensalon 70th Anniversary Teddy Bear, launching exclusively this month. A very distinguished bear who needs no formal introduction, Childrensalon's head of own brand Lesley Budris tells us: "Family is at the heart of our business, so we wanted to find a way for your family to share in a part of ours." With a nod to our history, the stylish bear sports a dapper bow tie, which features the commemorative Sybil print created for our special Beatrice & George X Childrensalon collaboration.
The perfect heirloom, he can be matched to their new outfit from the collection – after all, we've been dressing children (and now teddy bears) beautifully since 1952.
Celebrate In Style
The Childrensalon Atelier Collection
Making its debut in September 2022 is the Childrensalon Occasions Atelier collection. Featuring tiered tulle detailing and delicate embellishment, the collection comprises two beautifully crafted dresses named after two of Childrensalon's original mini style muses: founder Sybil Harriman’s daughters, Michele and Puppe. Made using couture techniques, this is a limited-run collection, with only 12 pieces available in each variation – these keepsake designs are made for children to enjoy wearing now and to treasure in memory boxes later.
Bid For A Better World | The 70th-Birthday Auction
As a company, we are passionate about giving back and, in 2021, we launched The Childrensalon Foundation to support charities close to our heart. On 4th October, we are hosting a very special 70-hour auction on childrensalon.com, with all proceeds going to three charities supported by the Childrensalon Foundation: Nourish Community Foodbank, Porridge & Pens Ghana and Sistah Space. There are over 100 items to discover, with rare, customised and one-of-a-kind pieces generously donated by our extended family of designers, including Moncler, Monnalisa, Mini Rodini, Balmain and many more.
