Instead of choosing seasonal clothes for the Artem and Kyra, I just add layers. That way we can adapt easily depending on the forecast. 

I usually reach for versatile pieces that work across seasons, like light jumpers, sweatshirts and jackets that can be taken on and off as needed. This means we’re always ready for changing weather and the kids can still express their style while staying comfortable. 

It’s about allowing them to choose. Sometimes Kyra’s outfits are beautiful, but she’ll insist on long dresses for the park or shoes that aren’t meant for running. In this case, I tend to take a change of clothes. For me, the most important thing is she feels confident and happy in what she’s wearing, that matters more than perfect practicality. 

I’ll still guide the basics, though: comfortable base layers, good outerwear, and pieces that work for our day. Within that, I let them express themselves. And funnily enough, sometimes it’s the impractical choices turn into the most memorable moments. 

I love good-quality staples. For Kyra, that often means a dress with a lovely pattern she can pair with tights or a jumper. And for Artem, surprisingly, it’s shorts all year round, so we focus on breathable, well-made styles. 

Burberry is one of our favourite designers. Their pieces are timeless, well crafted and work beautifully as base layers or outerwear. The quality means they hold up through constant wear without comprimising the look. The signature check is a classic and the heritage feel is just perfect!  

Yes! I love fun sunglasses, like these pink Dolce & Gabbana ones which add a playful touch while protecting their eyes from the lower autumnal sunshine. I also keep caps, hats and gloves handy for sudden changes. 

Chloé's wool cap is getting a lot of wear from Kyra too. The fabric keeps her head nice and warm in the rain and wind. These little accessories make a big difference in keeping the kids comfortable and stylish as the seasons shift. 

Yes, I follow the same principles for all of them, but with a bit more freedom for Artem as he’s older. He’s more aware of the weather and what feels practical, so he tends to make choices that work well for the season. 

Kyra, on the other hand, is still very guided by what she loves, so she’ll happily try to wear a summer dress even when it’s freezing outside, just because it’s shiny and sparkly! I love that about her, and I try to honour her style while gently adding layers to keep her warm. It’s a balance between practicality and letting their personalities shine through what they wear. 

My favourite ones are Burberry trenches and jackets, paired with Ralph Lauren jumpers. The Burberry outerwear is perfect for London’s unpredictable days. The fabrics breathe well but still protect against wind and light rain, which is exactly what you need with children.

Then the Ralph Lauren jumpers add warmth and comfort without losing that classic, polished look. They layer beautifully over T-shirts or thin long-sleeve tops. Together, they’re my go-to combination for keeping the children cosy and stylish, no matter what the weather throws at us. It’s a simple system that works for both Artem’s more grown-up style and Kyra’s love of sparkle. We just add the right accessories and they’re ready for anything. 

I lean towards earthy colours with a touch of rose, gold, and navy. These tones feel warm and timeless, and they work beautifully together, whether you’re layering jumpers, jackets, or accessories. 

As for prints, I love animal prints (leopard in particular) and checks of all sizes. They add character and interest to an outfit without feeling too bold, and they mix really well with solid colours. It’s a combination that feels both classic and playful, which suits the kids’ personalities and our approach to dressing as a family. 

I make them versatile by keeping the base as a dress or shorts and top, then layering with a soft knit and waterproof outerwear. That way, the kids stay warm in cool mornings, but as the day warms up, they can simply remove the outer layers and still feel comfortable in their whatever underneath.  

Trainers are always a reliable choice for me. The styles from Golden Goose are great for almost any weather. On cooler days I just pair them with cashmere socks to keep their feet warm without losing comfort. 

And when it starts to get colder, the children switch to UGGs. They both have their own pairs and absolutely love wearing them because they’re so cosy!
