Their first ski vacation is an exciting time, with new skills to master and new vistas to discover. Choose down-padded jackets from serious snow experts like Moncler Enfant, Molo and Deux par Deux, salopettes with internal gaiters to stop powder getting in, breathable base layers to help regulate their temperature, and don't forget a pair of UV-protective goggles for optimum visibility. Before you know it, they’ll be traversing the slopes like a pro.

Snow-Day Fun

When the snow falls, playtime calls, and it’s time to layer them up in the warmest weatherproof clothing.

What do children need to stay warm and dry when they’re playing out in the snow?

There’s nothing more fun than a snow day. Waking up to a winter wonderland covered in a glistening white blanket is the cue for polar expeditions, building snow sculptures and throwing a snowball or two. Dress them up in Roarsome's fun all-in-ones, guaranteed to offer maximum warmth thanks to durable waterproof fabric and recycled insulation. And they won't want to leave the house without a cute knitted bobble hat and gloves to keep their head and hands warmer for longer, not forgetting a pair of technical boots made for all those snow-stomping excursions.

Fold-over mittens and detachable booties will keep them super snuggly, and there’s nothing like seeing wide-eyed wonder framed by a faux-fur-trimmed hood. Pop on some tiny snow boots, gloves and a hat for the final cosy touches that will melt hearts, if not the snow!

Cosy Chalet Moments

After the day’s fun is done, snuggle up in a cosy outfit. Just add a mug of cocoa.

Once they’re back inside from the snow, how can I help my child warm up quickly and comfortably?

The joy of a putting on cosy clothes after a day on the slopes or playing in the snow is hard to beat! Opt for fleecy textures and fabrics like merino wool, which are both great insulators, and close-fitting layers will trap body heat to help them warm up. The only accessories they’ll need are a pair of soft slippers and a mug of something sweet and warming. Throw a few marshmallows into the mix and you’ve reached peak comfort.

Their Cosy-Time Checklist ✔️

  • Fleecy loungewear
  • Merino wool thermals
  • Pair of slippers
  • Soft dressing gown
  • Stretchy-fit tracksuits
  • A mug of hot chocolate
