BONJOUR!
From the tip of the Eiffel Tower down to the beautifully cobbled banks of the River Seine, Paris is the epitome of sophistication - it's no suprise that Parisian style is regarded as the chicest in the world. Paris Fashion Week is where many of the industry greats choose to stage their shows. From the heralded French-born designers to the extra-special guests of the city, each designer is undoubtedly a master of craft.
VIVE LA PARIS
Dressing as the Parisiennes do is all about accessorising with an unexpected twist. A pair of red cat-eye sunglasses, a pussy bow blouse or a quirky headband are a chic way of introducing a subtle touch of glamour into little girl's wardrobes, whilst classic stripes are key to form the foundation of an outfit. Pick wide leg culottes from French designer Chloé teamed with a motif tee. Add a beret for city exploring or a beautiful straw sun hat for heading to the Riviera.
The Breton stripe is iconically French and looks just as good dressed up as it does pared down. With its origins rooted deep in naval and fashion history, everyone from sailors and fisherman to famous designers Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier have honoured this classic stripe. Dress little boys with a nod to the nautical trend with blue denim jeans and a Breton striped tee layered under a smart blazer and accessorise with a logo scarf.
