Their first ski vacation is an exciting time, with new skills to master and new vistas to discover. And when it comes to kitting them out, your top priority will be to make sure their skiwear keeps the cold out where it belongs. Opt for fleecy textures and fabrics like merino wool, which are both great insulators, and close-fitting layers will trap body heat to help them warm up. The only accessories they’ll need are a pair of soft slippers — wool-lined Birkenstocks, please — and a mug of something sweet and warming.
