November 2022 | This Month We're Inspired By ...
It's time to button up warm and get ready for the packed social calendar that November always brings. We're super excited about the new Reebok Classic X The Animals Observatory collaboration and know there will be lots of cool kids heading from playdate to theatre date in these stunning kicks. The Reebok x The Animals Observatory collaboration started in 2018 with the aim of redesigning some of the most iconic sneakers of all time and we love the retro feel of these shoes in delicious clashing colours. Talking of colour, don't worry if you haven't managed to
organise a firework party this year because you can get your sparkle fix with our favourite autumn/winter 2022 trend. From Sonia Rykiel to Stella McCartney Kids, brightly coloured stars are lighting up every piece of clothing possible for night sky excitement in your very own wardrobe. Finally, if you're looking for the ultimate magical winter outing, how about ice-skating at Somerset House? Their famous rink has re-opened for the Winter with a hot chocolate van on site and ice-skate hire for adults and children age three-four and up. We'll see you on the ice!
The Animals Observatory X Reebok
We're huge fans of The Animals Observatory's cool laid back vibe and their latest collaboration with the iconic Reebok Classic is perfection...
If there's anyone who knows about delicious colour combinations it's Laia Aguilar, the creative director and co-founder of cult kid's label The Animals Observatory. The cool clothing brand has been collaborating with Reebok since 2018 and this is their fourth and we'd say possibly our favourite collection to date. The retro appeal of Reebok's classic trainers never fades and we love the juicy contrasting colours, which are inspired by legends of the sea and the mix of nylon underlay and chunky leather overlay, chosen to illustrate the depth of the ocean. Definitely shoes that will help you find your sea legs and add a cool comfy twist to any outfit.

Get Your Skates On!
For the ultimate Winter adventure, ice-skating in the stunning surroundings of Somerset House can't be beaten..
Skating on Ice
If you're looking for an outdoor family experience that's exciting, bonding and magical, how about open-air ice-skating? Whether it's rockin' the rink at the Rockerfeller Centre, or pirouetting around the Eiffel Tower 60 feet above ground, we can't think of a better way to kick off the most wonderful time of the year.
We're big fans of the stunning rink at London's Somerset House (somersethouse.org.uk) where the whole family can glide about amidst stunning views of 16th century architecture, under the watch of a glorious 40 ft Christmas tree. Skate hire is available from size 22 up, so kids from three-four years up can brave the ice and for anyone feeling distinctly Bambi like, there are lots of skating aids to help steady wobbly legs. We'd recommend wrapping up warm in a form-hugging quilted coat for coasting in comfort and don't forget a water bottle for when you've had enough cups of steaming hot chocolate - if that's even possible!

Little Sky Gazers
Everyone will be starry eyed with our favourite constellation themed trend of the season...
Don't forget to look up, is always good advice and we've been keeping our eyes skyward for star spotting in clear winter skies and all those fireworks that just keep on coming. It seems that we're not the only ones enjoying the joys of the night sky, with lots of our favourite brands taking Inspiration from the milky-way this season. We love the bold shooting stars at Stella McCartney KIds, the star strewn separates at Sonia Rykiel and the cute constellation themed rompers and accessories at The Bonnie Mob. Here's to gorgeous star spangled nights and wardrobes this winter.
