London is home. It’s the most beautiful city where there’s a lot of flowers and little animals and I can appreciate the nature. I love how the buildings are all matching and when I look at them I can immediately feel I’m in London. My daddy is an architect and he made me realise how beautiful the city’s architecture is. What I like the most about London is that there’s always things to do, I never get bored. There’s a lot of culture here - museums, theatres with the most beautiful shows (I love musicals) and historical monuments.

1. The museums. In particular the V&A, Science Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Tate Modern and Natural History Museum. They offer a different range of subjects that I love and I think I can learn a lot from them. They also have kids and family activities which is great because museums can sometimes be boring especially for younger children. This way we not only learn but we also have lots of fun.

2. The parks. My favourites are Hyde Park, St James Park, Kensington Gardens and Regent’s Park. If you have time to go to North London make sure you visit Hampstead Heath, Kenwood House and our latest discovery, Golden Hills Pergola and Gardens. If you head South, then Kew Gardens is a must visit. What I like the most about parks is that I can run and play freely, ride my bicycle or scooter and have picnics with my family. They also have great playgrounds, big bonus for kids! In some of these parks you can also see squirrels, ducks, swans and learn a little about the plants.

3. A walk by the south of the River Thames from Tower Bridge to the London Eye or a little bit further to the other side of the Houses of Parliament. The walk is beautiful itself, as the views are stunning plus there’s always entertainment in the streets, especially in the Southbank area. While you walk you can stop in some of the many attractions and museums. I love Tower Bridge (make sure you go at a time when the bridge lifts for the big boats, it's amazing), I also love the London Eye, the Aquarium and Tate Modern.

4. A bus tour and a boat tour. When the weather is nice, it’s so much fun, you can see all the attractions and you get to go in a convertible double deck bus. For the boat tour if you don’t want to go to the touristic ones which take longer and may be boring for younger kids just get the river bus (Thames Clippers) from the O2 (North Greenwich) to the London Eye (Westminster Pier) expect lots of fun as well as the opportunity to see the city from another angle.

5. One of the tallest buildings. My favourite is the Shard because it’s so tall. You can either go to one of the restaurants or just book a visit to The View from the Shard. At The View from the Shard they sometimes have kids themes, but even if they don’t there’s kids activities that you can enjoy while you learn about what you see. Plus it’s so high that it’s quite scary (I like scary). Another good one is the Sky Garden, you can also book at one of the restaurants or just for the garden. There’s not as many activities as at The View from the Shard, but it’s also very pretty and the views are amazing.

I absolutely love a good afternoon tea, either with my friends and family or just with my family and is one of the best things to do in London with kids. I go a lot with my mum, it makes me feel like a proper lady. My favourites are the ones that offer a special High Tea for Children with a theme. My top three are: The Langham Children's afternoon tea. It’s so much fun and I can even build my own dessert, plus during half terms, they have a book reading with an area just for kids and we can bring a book home. The Mandarin Oriental Mini afternoon tea at the Rosebery Lounge. They have the cutest sandwiches and pastries as well as some colouring activities. Each child also receives a Bento Box to keep. The Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea at the Le Meridien Piccadilly. Again very cute sandwiches and pastries as well as a beautiful setting. If you’re a fan of Peter Rabbit then don’t miss this London attraction for kids and if possible, go to the show as well.
