What’s on our Childrensalon families’ packing lists?

Laura, Senior Creative Project Manager and Mummy to Dexter and Ada

Sun, swimming and "hopefully a lot of ice cream, if Ada gets her way," says Childrensalon's project-managing extraordinaire Laura when asked what’s on their holiday agenda. This sunshine season, the family are heading on not one but two getaways — first stop is a trip to the sunny South of France, then on to the bustling city of Barcelona! On little Ada’s packing list is “anything pink, covered in unicorns or strawberries, my favourite food!” she says excitedly. Meanwhile, big brother Dexter is looking forward to a summer of sports: “I’m going to play football in Barcelona, which I’m really excited about.” And when he isn’t busy scoring goals, Dexter’s favourite place to be is in the water. “I could spend all day in the pool, especially when there are water slides.”

Jackie, Office Manager and Mummy to Summer

If you’re holidaying with little little ones, a staycation is the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine closer to home, something that our fabulous office manager Jackie is looking forward to with her mini-me. "My little one, Summer, is 2 years and 3 months old, and this holiday season, we’re going to a caravan in Pevensey, right on the beach!” she tells us. And what will she be packing in Summer’s suitcase? “Practicality and cuteness go hand-in-hand, which is what I love so much about this outfit. Shorts are so practical and the flower detail on the T-shirt is really cute. Plus, Summer loves wearing a hat and sandals. I’ll also be packing styles from Mayoral, Kissy Kissy and Flower Fairies by Childrensalon.” And the best part of being on holiday? “Spending time together, going swimming, and playing on the beach in the sunshine.” We couldn’t agree more, Jackie!

James, Senior Digital Manager and Daddy to Ollie

Next we’re off to Greece for a sunshine adventure with our senior digital manager James and his family, including one very excited little passenger, five-year-old Ollie. “He’s been counting down the days,” James says. “He can’t wait for the swimming pool, the aeroplane ride, and of course, all the snacks!” In preparation for his big adventure, Ollie couldn’t wait to choose his outfit for the first day: “I like the frog on it,” he told us, grinning from ear to ear. For the rest of Ollie’s packing list, James’s go-to brands are “Stella McCartney Kids and Mayoral because they’re playful, practical and, most importantly, machine washable”, he says, which is definitely a plus when ice cream is involved. And the highlight of going on holiday? “Just being together, relaxing, and watching Ollie have the time of his life.”

Nikki, Head of Digital & Marketing and Mum to Florence and Emilia

A holiday with siblings is such fun, creating memories that will last a lifetime. And for sisters Florence and Emilia, counting down the days until their family trip to France is just as exciting as the holiday itself. Mum, Nikki, tells us how excited both girls were to choose their holiday looks. Florence fell in love with this pretty Il Gufo look, “especially how the flowers, bag and even the hair accessories match the colour of the shorts!” Florence says. For Emilia, this Zimmermann look with a boho print caught her eye. “I love that it’s a playsuit, and the colours go really well together,” she tells us. And while their wish lists might be full of style, the girls’ sights are fully set on freedom: “No school means we can go and have adventures all day, every day!” they say with a grin — looks like this summer is going to be one to remember for this stylish sister act.
