What does the holiday season mean to you and your family? There’s nothing quite like the sense of anticipation as twinkling decorations start to go up and the countdown is on.
At Childrensalon, we want to spread a little comfort and joy this year. For our customers, we hope that our lovingly created Christmas Shop will delight you and your little ones, whether you are looking for the softest pyjamas, party looks or perfect gifts for the youngest members of the family.
This season, we're also focused on spreading comfort and joy to more children both in our local community and further afield. Read more about our two charity campaigns and get involved below.
Perhaps the greatest gift of all this Christmas is the chance to reconnect with family we may not have seen after a difficult couple of years. Whichever way you and your little ones choose to celebrate, we wish you the happiest of holidays, from our family to yours.

Bringing Comfort & Joy To Communities Near And Far
As we look forward to celebrating the holidays with our own families, we’re also thinking about giving back. Supporting initiatives that protect children in our local community and around the world is a big part of the ongoing work we do through our Childrensalon Foundation. In addition, we are proud to bring even more comfort and joy throughout the holiday season by supporting three inspiring charities that are close to our hearts. To embrace the spirit of giving, we invite you to consider supporting them as well, or, indeed, any other cause that you are passionate about.
25th November | Giving Back Together
It’s our tradition to focus on giving back on Black Friday, and this year, we have pledged to donate 10% of our childrensalon.com sales equally to two charities, Toybox and African Promise.
Toybox
Toybox is working to change the world for street children across Latin America, Asia and Africa. In 2021, they helped 2,259 children and young people to be registered with their official identity documents, as well as supporting 1,414 street children to access education. Over the past 10 years, they've helped provide similar opportunities to more than 180,000 children.
This year, Childrensalon is supporting Toybox’s Christmas campaign, to give even more street children access to education, health care and protection.

African Promise
African Promise is a small but ambitious charity supporting a network of eight partner schools and more than 3,000 students across rural Kenya.
Over the last 10 years they’ve invested more than £1m to build child-friendly schools that are safe and conducive for learning. All their pupils have access to a daily lunchtime meal, and all their schools are equipped with essential resources and qualified teachers.
Funds from this campaign will support their work at a time when drought and rising costs present huge challenges for schools, children, and the wider communities in which they operate.

6th December | A Meal For Our Neighbours
This festive season, we are supplementing our long-standing support of Nourish Community Foodbank. For every sale on childrensalon.com on 6th December we will donate one meal (£5) to Nourish’s referral-only food bank.
As a family-owned business with deep roots in the local community, we’ve partnered with Nourish for many years. Surprisingly, even in our quiet corner of southeast England, 9.1% of children are reported to live in poverty.
Nourish has delivered emergency food and supplies to over 33,000 people in the past eight years, and through this campaign, we hope to help them reach even more families..
