On the top of my list of alternative Mother’s Day ideas for the whole family to enjoy is a cosy movie night. I have developed a closer bond with my daughters due to lockdown and any opportunity to spend quality time together is highly anticipated.

Movies like ‘The Sound of Music, The King and I, and Annie played a part in my fondest memories as a child. Watching movies was not something I got to do with my mother because she was a single mum who worked hard to make sure I and my siblings had the best childhood experience she could afford us at the expense of her time.
I feel so blessed to be able to create memories that will last a lifetime with them.
