Founded in 1983, Moschino is comical, funny, enthusiastic and never serious. Moschino’s founding idea was to ridicule 80’s excess and the power of the high fashion designer, but in doing so became a victim of exactly this and a genius of his time. A jacket covered in bottle tops, socket plug earrings and matching coats and hats made from teddy bears instead of fur pelts; all are iconic examples of Moschino’s sarcasm, using everyday objects and selling them as high fashion, but with one major draw, that ‘Moschino’ label.
